To be honest, I haven't had such a blast playing Destiny 2 in a long time. With the release of the latest expansion, The Edge of Fate Boost, I felt like the game had come back to life and brought back that same sense of adventure that we used to spend hours playing shooters for. But there's one caveat: I'm short on time now, and there's so much content in the expansion that you can only complete it all yourself and get top-end gear if you forget about real life. So I did what I'd previously avoided: I decided to boost. And, to be honest, I haven't regretted it for a second.

Why I decided to boost, although I was against it before

I used to always say that "a real gamer should do everything himself." But let's be honest: not everyone has the opportunity to spend five hours in the evening just looking for a normal team for a raid. Rite of the Nine in this expansion is just a bomb, but at the same time a wild challenge. You either gather a party of the same enthusiasts and hope that no one will leave at the most crucial moment, or you forget about it and watch streams of how others enjoy the content. I chose the third way - order a boost. It's like inviting friends who already know everything and just letting them do the dirty work for you.

How it all happened and what surprised me

The coolest thing is how organized everything was. After I placed an order, the guys from support contacted me right away. They asked what platform I play on, what activities I want to complete first, and what rewards are a priority for me. Everything was as human as possible, without memorized phrases and standard templates - it felt like you were talking to clan mates.

And here's the funniest thing: I was actually watching the stream while they were dragging my account. It looked like professional eSports. Bosses fell in minutes, mechanics were executed without a single mistake, and I was just sitting with coffee and having fun from finally seeing how it should look. It was strange and at the same time nice to realize that your character is in good hands.

What I got in the end

When it was all over, I just didn't recognize my character. My power level was almost maxed out, my build was such that I was now destroying mobs as if I was playing easy mode, and finally I had those exotic guns in my inventory that I had been dreaming about since the announcement. And you know what the best part is? I can now go on raids myself and feel like an equal to everyone else, not like that dude who is being dragged by the scruff of the neck.

Was it worth the money?

Absolutely. I didn't just save a ton of time, I actually enjoyed it. After all, Destiny 2 is about emotions, adventures, and the adrenaline rush of victories, not about endless farming and searching for teammates who always drop out at the most crucial moment. If you're short on time but want to enjoy the new expansion, boosting is a great way. Seriously, it's better to pay once than to be angry at random players for months and forget about all the content.
